Cognitive & Scholastic Assessments
This type of assessment includes a 50-55 minute intake session, an assessment session, a 50-55 minute feedback session, and an accommodations/recommendations report.
Intake and feedback can be conducted online or in person, but the assessment session must be in person.
The assessment fee may vary depending on the final assessment time; however, the approximate cost is between R4,500 and R6,000.
Career Guidance
This type of assessment includes a 50-55-minute intake session, an assessment session, a 50-55-minute feedback session, and a career guidance report.
Intake and feedback can be conducted online or in person, but the assessment session must be in person.
The assessment fee may vary depending on the final assessment time; however, the approximate cost is between R4,500 and R6,000.
Global Assessment
This type of assessment includes a 50-55 minute intake session, an assessment session, a 50-55 minute feedback session, and a comprehensive recommendations report.
Intake and feedback can be conducted online or in person, but the assessment session must be in person. The assessment may need to take place over two days.
The assessment fee may vary depending on the final assessment time; however, the approximate cost is between R6,000 and R7,500.
PAYMENT POLICY
I operate as a cash practice, and therefore, the client (or parent) is responsible for paying for assessments or consults directly. Once payment has been received, you will be issued a receipt which can be used to claim back from your medical aid.
For assessments, payment must be made on or within 7 days of the assessment day via EFT, unless previous arrangements have been made with the practice.
It is advisable to contact your medical aid first to enquire about the availability of funds and the specific benefits of your particular medical aid plan (as not all medical aid plans make provision for psychometric assessment).
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancel at least 48 hours in advance to avoid fees (noon on Friday for Monday appointments).
Late cancellations for assessment sessions will incur a R1500 charge and R400 for feedback and intake sessions.
No-shows will be charged the full session fee.
Paid sessions cancelled within the correct timeframe may be refunded or rescheduled.
Please also note that medical aid schemes do not cover this fee and will therefore need to be settled out of pocket.
